Merry Christmas
Our Christmas dinner and Party will be tomorrow in the afternoon.
Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, brussel sprouts etc Pumpkin and apple pie for dessert
We're going to have a jolly good time!
Molly the donkey and Gouda, Blue the goats are especially found of the animal care taker so she
always brings a special treat before the holidays.

Winter is here
Winter arrived early last week with snow on Thursday
A tree representing Providence Farm was decorated downtown Duncan
and was designed for the birds, ( They were hungry) and yes, they made a Mess!
So what were the decorations?
pine cones with suet and bird seed and hug on the branches with beautiful red, green and white ribbon. Dark green bows were also placed on the tree.
it looks like molly the donkey is ready for Christmas

Halloween Party
We are haveing a Halloween Party on Friday Octobert 29th and Everyone will be Dressing up for the party
We are in the process of making a new barn door( new and improved )this door will be easier to use because it will be a sliding door.
Molly the donkey is really enjoying the fall weather and likes the sunny days

we said farewell to Alapcas
We said Farewell to the Alapcas on the 17th of September, they have gone to a good home, and last week on 24th four of our sheep,Dora, Rosie Poesy, Blackie, Marilyn Monroe went to Hope Farm.
We are composting old plants, cleaning out pots, and storing them in the pot shed.
Recently we received an outdoor bread/ Pizza oven and sits just outside the kitchen on brand new cement where the old alterate school use to be

Summer is here
Finally summer is here it's a hot day of 30c.
Because of the hot weather Our plants need more water and Our animals are looking for shade.
Our farm store has provided ice water in a huge red container with lots of ice and drinking cups for everyone Sun screen and straw hats are also provided to our workers.

It takes most of the moring to wash eggs on Mondays, Our hens are producing 14 to 15doz during Saturday thorough to Monday. Yeah! we're back in business !
A funny thing happended last Friday, the sheep got loose and wondered into the rental gardens we got them out of
there just in time. whew !
We had a farewell party for our boss, it was very special and we will miss him a lot. Thanks to our Kitchen manage, the food and drink was Awesome!

It is starting to feel like summer yeah! Temperatures are in the warm 23 c in the Cowichan Valley
Goada the goat was enjoying his breakfast munching the apple tree leaves he must have been really hungry.
Molly the Donkey is really enjoying my friendship she likes her coat brushed and often times lays her head on my knee.
lets hope the summer stays warm!

Our Alpac's have been acting up; they seem do this once in while " Sibling Rivalry! " So ....... Molly the donkey ran one way, Gouda and Blue our goats ran the other way, and the farm animals were NOT HAPPY!
We have moved Beautiful Colourful Planters in front of the farm store although we haven't had much sunshine, the whole area shines with Colour.
The Hoedown is on Saturday many guests and our workers will be attending, it should be really good! some guests dress-up in costumes. this is an auction, dinner and dance to fund raise for
Providence Farm.

The fkowers are blooming
It seems to be a cooler month and the sunshine hasn't been around much the month of May and beginning of June. Mother Nature is still making Our flowers bloom

This Morning as we prepared to gather chicken eggs , Our Favorite Donald duck passed away
peacefully under his favorite tree he lived for 10 years and he had a good life!
he loved eating blackberries.
Our new birds are starting to lay eggs "poulets" It shouldn't be too long before they are regular
size eggs

lambs went to new home
We said goodbye to little Emma, little Tennille and little Ruthy lambs all went to a new home last week and Our older Sheep Shaina sheep and Faith sheep went to the 'market'
So we have 12 sheep left.
Our Rooter Luongo deid of old age and he enjoyed his time at the farm
We have been Tranplanting Eggplant, Tomatoes, HOT Peppers. Basil
Molly the donkey enjoys laughing I think she likes us!

our lambs have gone to a new homes today
Today we said goodbye to 12 lambs 9 males and 3 feamales they are going to good homes.
and 5 females remain at the farm lttle Laura lamb, little Grace lamb, little Ruthy lamb, little Emma lamb, and little Tennille lamb.
Molly is still sad, she miss Eimor our hopes are to find another campain for her.
Our Alpaca's will have their wool sheared tomorrow morning.
This will greatly inprove their appearance
